DO EXPENSIVE KENNEL FEES ENSURE A BETTER SERVICE FOR YOUR DOG? – NO because at Bramblewood Boarding and Training Kennels from just £14.00 per day your dog will be exercised with free running in 35 acres of  fenced grass and woodland, where 16,000 trees have been planted to produce doggy heaven. They are accommodated in their own large heated kennel and run.  A vet is on call 24 hours a day and all specific needs are catered for with dedicated care and attention at all times.

Whilst primarily a boarding kennels, other services are offered by Diana Walker and her husband John who have been breeding and training Labradors, English Springer Spaniels and Terriers, mostly Border Terriers for in excess of 20 years. With the accommodation available, Bramblewood named after their first two gundogs Bramble and Woody, offer a first class service to anyone wishing to use their kennels be it for a trained dog or a household pet.

They also provide an accommodation service for waifs and strays brought in by the Torridge Animal Welfare Officer. They are usually heavily booked throughout the holiday season and especially through the autumn and early winter, when trained gundogs are taken for refresher training.  So early booking is advisable.

They operate a collection and delivery service and are fully insured and licensed as Boarding and Breeding Kennels with their local authority. They are specialist in the handling and kennelling of quality trained working gundogs realising that just to throw a ball or Frisbee will very quickly undo months of dedicated work and training. They offer a variety of refresher training and fault correction prior to the start of the season both to the dogs and more importantly the handler.
